A special product from the LITHOFIN-Range for terracotta (TC). The ready-to-use primer contains silocon and acrylate resins carried in organic solvents.

Penetrates into porous surfaces and reduces their absorbency. This treatment renders the surface water repellent and is the precondition for treatment with Lithofin TC Classic Wax.

Field of Use:
For priming absorbent terracotta and cotto surfaces, especially Italian cotto. This treatment is the first step of the so called ""classic"" method for treating terracotta. This treatment is not suitable for nonabsorbent surfaces and for outdoor use.

Directions for Use:
The surface to be treated must be completely dry and clean. Shake well before use. Try the product in an inconspicuous area in order to evaluate the effect. Evenly apply the undiluted product with a brush or an applicator, avoid streaks and puddles. Even out the coat with a cloth or nylon pad before drying. Start treatment with Lithofin TC Classic Wax immediately after drying (20 to 60 minutes).

Please Note:
Apply the product only after the silcone joints have been fixed.

Application Temperature:
Between 10°C and 25°C, turn of underfloor heating.

Drying Time:
Approx. 60 minutes.

Approx. 5 to 10m² depending on the porosity of the surface.

Further Treatment:
Lithofin TC Classic Wax. Both products belong together in a system known as the ""classic"" method.

Closed, cool and dry. Shelf life of up to 2 years.
Open containers should be used quickly.

Environmental Protection:
Contains solvents, free of chlorinated hydrocarbons.

Liquid product is classified as special waste. Containers are made of environmentally friendly tin plate. Clean containers can be recycled through collection systems.

First Aid Procedures:
Remove contaminated soaked clothing immediately. In case of inhalation, move victim to open area. In the event of symptoms refer for medical treatment. In case of contact with skin washoff immediately with soap and water. In case of contact with eyes rinse thoroughly with plenty of water and seek medical advice. In case of ingestion, do not induce vomiting. If swallowed by mistake drink plenty of water and seek medical treatment.

Emergency Procedures:
In case of spill or other release, take up with absorbent material (e.g. sand, sawdust, general-purpose binder). In case of fire formation of dangerous gases possible. Suitable extinguishing material: foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide, sand.
