For priming absorbent terracotta and cotto surfaces, especially Italian cotto. This treatment is the first step of the so called "classic" method for treating terracotta. This treatment is not suitable for non-absorbent surfaces
1st step of the CLASSIC method: works as a primer to reduce absorbency of the surface and renders the surface water repellent. This is the pre-condition for treatment with Lithofin TC Classic Wax. Determines the later colour shade of the finish and ensures an even appearance.

Field of Use:

Directions for Use:
The surface to be treated must be completely dry and clean. Shake well before use. Try the product in an inconspicuous area in order to evaluate the effect. Evenly apply the undiluted product with a brush or an applicator, avoid streaks and puddles. Even out the coat with a cloth or nylon pad before drying. Start treatment with Lithofin TC Classic Wax immediately after drying (20 to 60 minutes).
Please Note:
Apply the product only after the silcone joints have been fixed.
Application Temperature:
Between 10°C and 25°C, turn of underfloor heating.
Drying Time:
Approx. 60 minutes.
Coverage:
Approx. 5 to 10 sq./m per litre depending on the porosity of the surface.
Further Treatment:
Lithofin TC Classic Wax. Both products belong together in a system known as the ""classic"" method.
Storage:
Closed, cool and dry. Shelf life of up to 2 years. Open containers should be used quickly.
