Kelmore’s PrimeMore Grip is a ready to use, one coat, bond promoting primer. Designed to adhere to non-porous internal wall and floor backgrounds, this product dries with a textured, keyed surface enabling strong adhesion of subsequently applied adhesives, and levelling and smoothing compounds. To help achieve total and uniform coverage, PrimeMore Grip is pigmented green for enhanced visibility during application.

Suitable Backgrounds
Prime these backgrounds with one neat, undiluted coat of PrimeMore Grip. The primer must be allowed to dry before applying tile adhesive or levelling and smoothing compounds.
*Do not tile over existing wall tiling unless ascertained safe to do so. Confirmation that the existing tiles are well bonded to a sound background capable of carrying the additional load must be evidenced.
BACKGROUND AND SURFACE PREPARATION
Backgrounds must be sufficiently dry and strong enough to carry the total weight being applied. All surfaces must be clean, sound and free from contaminants that could inhibit adhesion, such as dust, dirt, oil, grease, laitance, and curing agents.
Application
Shake the pouch well before use.
Apply one thin coat of PrimeMore Grip uniformly to the prepared background using a paint roller or brush. Do not over apply the primer as this can result in the product forming a skin. To avoid any potential inadvertent removal of the primer, PrimeMore Grip must be completely dry before being walked upon and before applying tile adhesive or levelling and smoothing compounds.
Drying times will vary dependent on the site temperatures (air and background). When applied at 20°C, PrimeMore Grip will dry in approximately 45 minutes.
Coverage
Coverage will vary dependent on the texture of the background. As a guide, 1 kg of PrimeMore Grip will cover approximately 12.5m2.
CLEANING: All tools should be cleaned with water after use and before the product dries.

STORAGE AND SHELF LIFE: PrimeMore Grip must be protected from frost and stored in unopened packaging, off the
ground, and in cool, dry conditions. If stored in this way, the shelf life of this product is 12 months.
BS 5385 & BS 8203: PrimeMore Grip should be used in conjunction with work carried out under the British Standard
Codes of Practice for Wall and Floor Tiling, and the Installation of Resilient Floor Coverings.
