Trade Prices - A Thing of The Past ???
Posted by Pure Adhesion Ltd on 19th Feb 2026
In today’s online marketplace, price transparency isn’t just common — it’s expected. Customers can compare products, suppliers, and shipping costs in seconds. At Pure Adhesion, we’ve built our pricing strategy around that reality.
Why We Don’t Offer Additional Trade Discounts
We’re often asked whether we can provide extra trade discounts. The honest answer is, our prices are already set at the most competitive level possible.
Unlike traditional pricing models that build in large margins to allow room for negotiation, we take a different approach. We price our products as sharply as we can from the start. That means:
- No inflated list prices
- No artificial markups
- No “discount games”
- No need to negotiate
- What you see is already our best price.
Online Pricing Has Changed the Game

In the past, suppliers could set high list prices and offer trade customers varying discount levels. But online retail has changed expectations. Customers, whether trade, or DIY buyers, compare prices instantly across multiple suppliers.
To remain competitive, we structure our pricing, so it stands up immediately against the market. There simply isn’t excess margin built in to allow for additional trade reductions without compromising sustainability, product quality, or service standards.
Fairness and Transparency
Offering extra discounts to some customers would mean increasing prices elsewhere to offset the difference. We don’t believe that’s fair.
In short, we don’t offer additional trade discounts because we’ve already built the discount into the price. And that’s exactly how we believe it should be.
